Philadelphia Urology Locations

Philadelphia Urology Locations

Location is obviously a major consideration when you are selecting the right Urologist or  Urology Group in the Greater Philadelphia area and its neighboring cities and suburbs. After previously discussing how to find the very best Philadelphia based Urologist to fit your individual needs, location is then perhaps the next primary consideration for most patients.

How Far Will Patients Drive To See a Urologist?

Although no studies have been performed to define how far a patient will consider driving to see a Urologist, when it comes to Dentistry, there are numerous surveys and studies that have been documented. These studies and surveys showed that the average patient will not likely drive more than ten (10) miles to see a new dentist, with a 5 mile driving radius from their home the preference. In one major study the results in regards to travelling or driving distance to visit a Dentist were:
Under 5 miles: 38%
Between 5 and 10 miles: 41%
Between 10 and 20 miles: 16%
Greater than 20 miles: 5%
This equates to over 80 percent of all patients (81%) not willing to drive more than 10 miles to visit a DDS. That means four out of every five patients!
It's important to note that the study did point out the fact that patients were much more willing and likely to drive further distances to see a specialist for their dental conditions or special needs of the individual patient. One can only conclude that this would hold true in the case of patients selecting and seeing a new Urology physician.

Philadelphia Urology Associates Has Two Office Locations

Although not quite "apples to apples" comparing visiting a Urologist with a trip to the dentist, the point is that for the average age demographic of a patient that decides to see a Urologist regarding a condition or symptom that they're currently experiencing, driving distance is a major consideration in choosing which Urologist or Urology Group to go to.
to help as many potential patients as possible, Philadelphia Urology has two (2) locations: an office in Philadelphia and an office in Darby, Pennsylvania!
